Just back from a trip back home. It was a short one but a very relaxing one nonetheless.
Although, I couldn't meet many of my friends. Priyanka just sent me an IM saying 'Welcome back.' Ironic- I thought considering she lives in India and I am back to Jersey now, but then, so right in a way!
Its like you have two domains- one for physical presence where you 'do' everything you have to do and another more real than the physical presence, where you can 'be'.
I am not at any rush to shop, go to bank, make social visits etc in here...I can chat to my friends one to one without having to worry about nitty gritty like rice boiling on the stove, Manu being a pickle or bai needs to be paid.
What would we have done without the internet!!

Yes,internet did seep through our viens and before we knew we could not live without it ..:). i mean what in the world would we do without google.. i cannot imagine :)... aah Mom feels the same way about our maid, who is undisputed THE most important person for her.Btw wat with visiting mumbai and leaving me out of the visitors list... tsk tsk
As I said in the post Meenu, visited for like 10 days...didnt get to catch up with literally ANY of my friends
...About the maid, they are the basic building blocks of your domestic modus operandi...any homemaker would agree :)
